There are a total of 12 common monsters in Monster Legends at this time, which are: All common monsters are breedable and can be purchased from shop for gold. It is also the rarity that has only one element type, all other rarities almost always – with a few exceptions – are hybrid(2 element types). Higher rarity generally means better monsters, but this is not always the case, some good lower rarity monsters are stronger than some of the monsters that are even 2 rarities above them! Common Doomsday monsters are ranked with Ambrosia, Metropolitan monsters are ranked up with Ambrosia or Nebula, Corrupted monsters may be ranked with either Ambrosia or Lutum, and Cosmic monster may be ranked up with either Ambrosia or Stardust.There are 7 rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Ancestor) and 10 element types (Water, Fire, Nature, Magic, Metal, Light, Dark, Earth, Thunder and Special) of monsters. Additionally, performing a cap breakout is instantaneous, while ranking to the next level still takes time. Secondly, their rank up costs and new maximum levels are drastically higher:Ĭosmic, Corrupted, Metropolitan, and Doomsday Mythics Ĭosmic, Corrupted, Metropolitan, Doomsday era Mythics have the ability to perform a cap breakout, allowing them to rank up to intermediate steps with fewer cells. Firstly, they can only be ranked up with their own cells or with mythic amber. Original era mythic monsters, however, are different. The amount of food required increases by 10% every time the monster levels up. Additionally, a ranked up monster requires more food to level up than regular monsters.
However, upon reaching rank 5, it is able to level up an additional 10 levels. The amount of cells required depends on the rank.Įach time a monster ranks up, it is able to level up an additional 5 levels. However, Warmasters, Forsaken (and Lord Pumpseed), and mythic monsters may only be ranked up with their own cells (or mythic amber, stardust, lutum, or nebula).
Ranking up a monster requires cells of that monster, elemental cells, or elementium. Ranking Up monsters allows them to level up beyond their default maximum level and greatly increase their stats.
